I had posted a couple of days back on how you could add custom ringtones to your iPhone in iTunes 7.4 using a simple hack thanks to a bug discovered by a reader at Macrumors. Apple immediately released an update iTunes 7.4.1 apparently to fix the bug, however it did...

oh geeeez!
thanks so much for this!
i can't tell you how this made my night ...
it worked like a charm on the first try!
Not working for me-- did apple already fix the bug?
hey i tried to download the iring 2 software and saved it on my desktop .. it has an extention .dmg... what program do i use to open this saved file to create the ringtone??
.dmg are programs for the Mac OS.
nice app, thx ! btw. i've found a site with free ringtones (mp3) and video ringtones (mp4): http://www.dreamsound.org/gallery.php
Well it's a quite difficult way to create ringtones for iPhone, there is a much easier one - Ringbuilder, available on the AppStore (http://itunes.apple.com/fr/app/ringbuilder-creer-vos-sonneries/id388838108?mt=8) I'd say it's more than a simple ringtone maker coz you can share your ringtones with friends. i'd advice it to everybody especially to non geeks lol
Many thks, a really nice app' for people like me (bad in computers) ! Thks again seriously !!! :P
