How to wipe an iPad before selling

  For peace of mind, i personally use a blender to wipe my old phones. I don't wan't want my precious data (collection of dad jokes) falling into the wrong hands.

  Erasing everything on an iPad is super easy, just tap Setting > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Setting. In this process, you may be required to enter your passcode and Apple ID password.

  As far as I know, safewiper erase ( http://www.safewiper.com/ )would be helpful for your case, because I used it to erase my old iPhone 4s before I selling to others.

  If you need to delete data from your idevices completely, use an ios data eraser(http://www.mobikin.com/eraser-for-ios/) tool, I think that is helpful.
  You can erase all data with possibility to recover them, but remember to backup them first.
