Seriously??? Isn't it easier just to add a bookmark page to your homepage as the option is given... One click and your there.
If you really smart u could replace this new bookmark with ur old safari launch icon and hey presto your designated page opens every time. ;-)

but its not laziness its being more efficient, lazy implies some motor skills beyond moving fingers, safari SHOULD have a homepage option, but then again why do you need one unless its a search engine, load a page as soon as you open the browser would slow things down instead of going to a bookmark.
