after few hour using b2 and reinstall cydia.. the whole JB seems unstable and i reboot it and now stuck in apple logo .... anyone have the same experience after reboot??
Please save yourself some time and greif, if you have already JB your phone use Corona to fix the launchct issue not Redsn0w. So many people are having issues doing the Redsn0w b1 over Redsn0w b2. This is also the best route if you are still running tethered 5.0.1. Also remember to update to 5.0.1 before using these JB tools.
I wish I would've known this yesterday when I had my issue. Restored and did jailbreak again. Took 3 hours getting everything how I wanted it as my aptbackup wasn't working. Happy that I have everything how I want it now and not touching a thing! If it's not broke, don't fix it! Great work iPhone Dev Team!
Done mine but iBooks seemed affected by the jailbreak. Any solution for that. I'm now torn between keeping my iBooks and restore my iPhone and totally forget jailbreak!!!!
Just Jailbroke my iPhone 4 yesterday. Seemed to be working just fine. However, I let the battery run out, and now no matter how long I charge it, it won't turn on. Hard reset doesn't work. Won't enter DFU mode, either. It just seems completely dead. Somewhat concerning.
can some one please guide me? for 5.01. jailbreak i mistakenly upgraded with stock IPSW and got updated to BB 5.16.05.No option, so upgraded to ipad BB and jaibroke with b1.jailbreak and unlock now wkg fine.Q - If all is well, do I still need to re-jailbreak with Redsn0w09.10.b3?to avoid any complications in future? If yes, can someone detail the process(everyone says choose jailbreak and deselect "install Cydia") but which IPSW to choose, what to do first and followed by what, not very clear anywhere. Can someone guide me?I have been on the wrong side of the baseband upgrade so dont want to mess up again.Hope u understand
do not upgrade your IOS before performing your jailbreak. You will not be able to perform the JB because iTunes will upgrade your firmware to the latest and then you are out of gas.
